Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Educators & Organizational Teams Workshop
This is a 5 or 7 day workshop in which educators of youth solve a problem for a real entrepreneur. In this course, educators develop a deep understanding of an entrepreneur’s skills, mindsets, tools, and lifestyles. In teams you synthesize research and solve a time sensitive problem that is pertinent that you will present to the entrepreneur waiting for your solution.
Following your presentation and feedback from the entrepreneur, there is a cognitive coaching session to reflect and plan how to design aparallel experience for youth in your school or organization.
Learning Takeaways:
We work with cohorts of educators and organisation leaders in ongoing, job-embedded professional learning partnerships. These four to six-month partnerships blend in-person and online learning to ensure that teachers on your team receive a personalized approach to their context as well as a chance to develop, test, and iterate on new ideas.
Each cohort works with a coach who is an expert facilitator who will curate and present content, design and facilitate discussions, and offer feedback to cohort members. We will work with your team on the design and timing of a cohort program.
Of course, this is a generation with google knowledge at their fingertips, smart phones that research for them and a social media audience that can reach around the world within a few keystrokes.
